MediTeam Dental’s (”MediTeam”) mission is to meet the needs of the patients and dentists of today by developing methods for minimally-invasive dentistry. We collaborate closely with dentists, researchers and universities to develop and market products for tissue-preserving dental care with optimal patient comfort.

MediTeam was established in 1996 and has it’s headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden.

MediTeam’s unique and patented product Carisolv® was introduced to the market in 1997. Carisolv® is a gel based method for treating caries in a minimally-invasive way, offering pain reduced treatment and better preservation of teeth compared to e.g. drilling. With the Carisolv® method of removing caries both drilling and local anaesthesia can be minimized or completely avoided, making treatment less painful for the patient.

Over 100 studies have been carried out by independent researchers, which show the effectiveness of Carisolv® in removing caries in a safe, efficient and pain reduced way.

MediTeam sells its products through a network of distributors and has today over 50 distributors in Europe, North America and Asia. MediTeam has recently contracted distributors in China and India – markets with a large population in need of caries treatment.
